About Me

Music has been the greatest source of joy and enrichment in my life. I am committed to sharing this passion with students and fellow musicians alike. As a teacher, I strive to provide a relaxed learning environment and build friendships with each of my students.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years. In this time, I’ve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance, played innumerous shows and events, and performed at venues ranging from Yoshi’s Oakland to 924 Gilman to the clubs and streets of New Orleans. I’ve written, performed, and produced two of my own records and played on countless others. I have recorded with many artists including Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee and guitarist for George Clinton, Michael “Kidd Funkadelic” Hampton.

My mission is to inspire creativity and build community among people of all musical backgrounds and skill levels. I do this through measured and personalized lesson plans, performance opportunities, and group classes, all of which are done with continually updated methods and resources.

In 2021, I founded the Seeds of Music Academy in Pleasanton. I work with some of the most experienced and innovative musicians in the Bay Area who bring years of teaching and performance experience to our private lessons and group performance classes. Our studio is conveniently located at the city border to serve both Livermore and Pleasanton students.
